GORDON AND FRIENDS PEDALED FOR A CURE AND TO RAISE FUNDS FOR OUR DVD... "Your Journey of Lymphoma Treatments"

gordon_and_kaylene.jpgGordon’s participation in the event was about “Riding for a Cure” and to raise funds for Lymphoma Australia in memory of his wife Kayleen. Gordon raised over 8,000 dollars and along the way also created a greater awareness of Lymphoma by talking to people about this cancer, handing out T shirts, wristbands and newsletters.

After 9 days and 625km later, the Cycle Qld bike ride from Bundaberg to Brisbane ended at Sandgate on Sunday 7 September.

There were some challenging aspects over the 9 days, mainly camping with 1100 “cycling friends”. However, Gordon feels very proud to have undertaken the ride and raised funds for Lymphoma
