What you should know about diagnosis, treatment and beyond for CLL/SLL .......

International guest speaker Professor Peter Hillmen will be joined by local experts for this special patients and carers education session. 

Professor. Hillmen is a consultant haematologist at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in England. He has a clinical and research interest in chronic CLL, particularly in the development of novel therapeutic approaches and in the pathophysiology of CLL. Since 1995, he has been involved in the development of clinical trials of monoclonal antibody therapy for CLL. Professor Hillmen is currently the chairman of the CLL trials sub-group of the British National Cancer Research Institute with the responsibility of developing a portfolio of Phase II and Phase III studies in CLL for the U.K. lowest
