International Lymphoma Expert coming to Melbourne

Professor Steven Le Gouill from France will be giving a special presentation about the latest treatments for lymphoma on Monday the 27th of May.

This session is for patients, carers and interested health professionals and there will be an opportunity to have your questions answered at the end of the presentation.

When – Monday 27th May 2019

Time – Registration 9.30am. Session is from 10.00am – 12.00pm

More information about Professor Steven Le Gouill     

Steven Le Gouill became Professor of Haematology at the Medical University of Nantes, France in 2010, where he is also in charge of the lymphoma research program and the Early Phase Clinical Investigation in Haematology Unit. Professor Le Gouill obtained his MD with specialization in haematology from Nantes Medical University and then obtained his PhD with specialization in blood cell biology from Paris VII University, France. He is a member of the Lymphoma Study Association (LYSA) where he is Co-Chair of the Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) Committee. As an expert in the treatment of MCL, Professor Le Gouill participated in the European Society for Medical Oncology consensus conference guidelines for treatment of MCL and has conducted several clinical trials. He is also involved in basic research in MCL (Team 10, INSERM UMR892, Nantes, France); his team investigates apoptosis dysregulation in MCL.
