Women in Lymphoma join Lymphoma Australia

Lymphoma Australia officially welcomes Women in Lymphoma

Joint statement: 30 June 2022

From 1 July 2022, the international professional alliance Women in Lymphoma will be supported through Lymphoma Australia, transitioning from the Snowdome Foundation.

Women in Lymphoma is an alliance of 180+ lymphoma doctors, researchers and educators from around the world including USA, Canada, South America, United Kingdom, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and beyond. The group’s focus is to advocate for leadership for women in lymphoma.

“Snowdome Foundation is very proud to have supported the global Women in Lymphoma (WiL) initiative since establishment in October 2020.
Snowdome – having delivered on its promise to lend administrative and governance support to WiL, enabling them to greatly expand over the past 18 months – is very pleased to announce WiL’s move to their new home at Lymphoma Australia where they are best placed for their next stage of growth.”

Lymphoma Australia look forward to supporting them in their mission to support and advocate for greater leadership of women in lymphoma globally.
Women in Lymphoma also encourages the involvement of leading men in lymphoma, as champions of change, to work with WiL on initiatives to identify and reduce barriers which may prevent women choosing or being for a leadership path in lymphoma.

Please see attached the joint announcement from WiL, Lymphoma Australia and Snowdome Foundation regarding the transition of WiL to governance with Lymphoma Australia.
