Johnny Mannah Walk 4 Lymphoma

Lymphoma Australia have joined forces with the Cronulla Sharks and the Parramatta Eels to honour the legacy of Johnny Mannah, who sadly passed from Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2013.

Team Johnny will be led by his brother Tim Mannah, and they will walk 35km from CommBank Stadium to PointsBet Stadium with the goal to fund Australia’s first lymphoma nurse for young patients.

Lymphoma is the NUMBER 1 cancer for the 15-29 age group and the THIRD most common in children

The walk will take place on the 17th of March and the final recognition for the walkers, sponsors and the lymphoma community will take place at the Johnny Mannah Cup that will be played between the Eels and Sharks on the 19th of March at Points Bet Stadium.
Throughout his treatment, during the good and bad times, Johnny was always there for others in the lymphoma community.
It is an honour and a privilege for Lymphoma Australia to walk alongside his NRL clubs the Parramatta Eels and the Cronulla Sharks in his memory.

Funds raised from this great walk will fund the first ever lymphoma nurse dedicated to supporting young people in Australia.

Johnny’s legacy to help others will live on through the work of the nurses we can fund to support the Australian Lymphoma Community.

We look forward to sharing updates from the team as they prepare for their walk.
