This September 15th, we are putting lymphoma in the limelight for
World Lymphoma Awareness Day.
By lighting up landmarks across the nation we aim to shine a light on the signs and symptoms of lymphoma and show our support to the
7,400 Australians diagnosed each year.
- When: Friday the 15th September between 7-8pm (7:40pm to be exact) But you can hold your own limelight event any day or night that suits you.
- Where: Locations across Australia. Check out the list below for landmarks near you. This list will be updated regularly.
- Why: Each year 7,400 Australians are diagnosed with Lymphoma. At 7:40pm on World Lymphoma Day we are lighting up landmarks across the country to put lymphoma in the limelight.
- Who: You and everyone you know! Invite your family, friends, school mates and work colleagues. Let your whole town know by sharing details on your local community Facebook page!
- What: Bring a picnic, host a party, lime up your phone light, play games, hold a candlelight vigil, or just show up and be part of the community. Do whatever feels right to commemorate the date. Create a fundraising page and ask for a donation on the night.
- Wear: Lime of course – wigs, hats, shoes, tutu’s – we don’t care as long as it’s lime.
