September Lymphoma Awareness Month

Lymphoma Awareness Month is almost here!

Lymphoma is the 6th most common cancer in Australia and the number one cancer in the 15-29 year age group.

Did you know!? Lymphoma is a cancer of the immune system and there will be more than 6,900 Australians diagnosed with lymphoma this year – that is one person every 2 hours.

By putting Lymphoma in the Limelight this September you will help to increase awareness for lymphoma. Your fundraising will also be helping to fund Lymphoma Care Nurses, who are there to help Australians face the lymphoma journey with hope and courage, not fear of the unknown.

Together we can put the LIMELIGHT on LYMPHOMA.

HERE ARE SOME FUNDRAISING IDEAS TO INSPIRE YOU!
  • Create a LIMELIGHT fundraising event – hold a morning tea, lunch or after work drinks with lime-coloured treats (think LIME milkshakes or cocktails, LIME icing, LIME cheesecake)
  • Take on a physical challenge – set a staff challenge for burpees, cartwheels or walking 10km per day – it’s up to you.
  • Collect donations or pledge a percentage of your companies’ sales for a nominated day
  • Ask your workplace to dollar match your fundraising efforts
  • Buy Lymphoma Australia merchandise – ribbon pins, bandanas/face masks, t-shirts, hats, bracelets etc.
LIME IT UP during September – wear lime green tutus, glam it up, have some fun!
