As it turns out I have Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and I commence my treatment next Monday.
Oddly enough though finding out what I have, what the treatment entails and its commencement date has actually relieved the stress not added to it.”
Darryl underwent six rounds of escalated BEACOPP, and had a rough time. He was hospitalised with severe Bleomycin Toxicity, and Sepstic Arthritis and then also endured COVID-19.
137 days later and Darryl’s PET scan was clear – no evidence of disease.
He credits his amazing wife and family for their support, and the clinical teams and nurses, and our peer support group for getting him through.
This video was put together by his wife.
Wishing you well Darryl!!
