Tom’s Story (video)- Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma

Tom was interviewed as part of the ABC Science series for men’s health “Listen Up”.

Tom is a 34-year-old survivor of one of the rarer forms of Hodgkin Lymphoma. Tom was diagnosed shortly after finding out his partner was pregnant and was fighting the cancer all through her pregnancy. This was his reason to never give up.

 

Subtype: Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkins Lymphoma with Large B-Cell and Hystiene T-Cell involvement

Treatment Location: Mater Public Brisbane

Chemo Protocol: ABVD then escalated to R-GDP and Radiation at the PA Hospital, Brisbane (Located inside Mater Grounds)

Stem Cell Transplant: Autologous Stem Cell Transplant
